Join us on Oct 20 for a free-for-members webinar that addresses a personal journey through ergonomics and a repetitive strain injury; from a Physical Therapist (Maybelle Murphy BscPT) who will generally address posture, back and shoulder concerns and treatment and an Occupational Therapist (Sharon Kingston, O. Learning Objectives:
- Identify common musculoskeletal risks associated with mammography practice, including issues affecting the back, shoulders, elbows, wrists, and hands, and describe how these risks can impact long-term career health.
- Understand general ergonomic principles, posture techniques, and movement strategies to reduce physical strain during mammography procedures and daily work activities.
- Recognize evidence-informed prevention and treatment approaches presented by physical and occupational therapy expert to support physical wellness.
