Join author Jennifer Brown MEd MRT(R) in this accredited QSS while we examine the importance of the preceptorship model, the uniqueness of the MRT's educational-clinical environment, and communication strategies that can be used with these factors in mind. This course additionally provides preceptors with valuable techniques to use in everyday interactions to maximize the preceptor-student relationship.

On completion of this course, the student will gain knowledge of the history and roles of preceptorship in Medical Radiologic Technology Education, awareness of ways of interacting with adult learners, techniques for providing feedback and communication with learners and be able to apply methods for clinical reasoning and reflective practice.
