Webinar #3 brings an expert session on Restorative Nipple Areola Tattooing: Restoring Body and Mind after Breast Cancer Treatment in the Hospital by Alexandra Ginty MD CCFD(EM) FCFP. Learn to confidently explain and advocate for patients completing their breast reconstruction journey with restorative nipple tattooing. This includes discussion of the medical and artistic process of reconstructive surgery and tattooing with diverse examples, considerations after cancer treatment, and a brief explanation of how referrals work under OHIP and discussions of equity from this award-winning speaker (Cancer Quality Council of ON Equity Award & King Charles III Coronation medal recipient). • Demonstrate knowledge of breast cancer surgical reconstruction, nipple tattooing techniques, and patient-centred communication principles.
