In CT Imaging 2, recently revised for 2025, you will find a comprehensive course intended to provide an MRT with a deep dive into CT, supported by assignments to lock-in your learning and available assistance from a course mentor. CT Imaging 2 will be of interest to those wishing to enhance their knowledge and gain further expertise in CT imaging. CT Imaging 2 builds on the sectional anatomy and theory of CT Imaging 1 and applies those concepts to CT imaging of the head, neck and spine. There is a focus on imaging with and without contrast and optimizing scan parameters to enhance imaging of the head neck and spine, including the role CT plays in managing critically ill patients. The course features an in-depth approach to pathological processes and the key radiographic indicators of pathology.

This course entails the completion of graded assignments and an online final examination. This course is intended to stand alone as CT-training, and also as an element of the CTIC and PET-CT certificate programs. This course will run for one term, and registering for it automatically enrolls you into the required final exam.

Recommended Pre-requisite for CT Imaging 2/3: CT Imaging Certificate Requirement CT Anatomy Challenge Exam
It is strongly recommended that candidates who have not yet successfully completed the required CT Anatomy prerequisite exam have the foundational knowledge required to proceed with this course. This anatomy exam must be successfully completed for eligibility into the CTIC or PET-CT program. Registration for the CT Anatomy exam is available under the Challenge Exams tab in the left-hand side of CPD Catalogue.
